It's that time of year again.... Time for the 2010 Reigning Quad City Champs to form our next winning All Star Team!

  

The Cleveland Darter Club All-Star Team is very pleased to offer you once again a chance to save hundreds of dollars by purchasing an "Our Town and All-Around" Dining Directory. The cost of the book is just $28 with part of the proceeds benefiting the 2011 CDC All-Star Team!

Books will be available at The Oriole Club on Friday nights at Tournament Trails (BEGINNING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16), as well at each of our All-Star Fundraiser events. Or, you may order by contacting Jamie Clark at

2011 CDC All Star Team Information

  • Phase I try-outs will begin on Friday, April 1, 2011 at The Orioles Club beginning at 6PM. The cost for Phase I is $5 for 1 try-out or $10 for 3 try-outs. The Phase I try-out total will be a cumulative score from 60 darts (20 turns of 3 darts per turn.) Darts that bounce out are not re-thrown. The minimum score for men to qualify for Phase II is 1,200 and the minimum score for women to qualify is 800.
  • The last day to qualify for consideration for an Automatic Spot: Friday, August 26, 2011.
  • The last day to post a score to participate in Phase II: Saturday, September 17, 2011.
  • Phase II will be on Sunday, September 25, 2011. The 32 men and 16 women with the top Phase I scores will play-off in Phase II for the remaining spots on the team. 
  • Phase II participants must be a current CDC member in good standing.
  • The CDC All Star Team may consist of players from Greater Cleveland, Akron, Canton, Youngstown, and Wooster areas. Quad-City Rules state, “All team members must reside within an 80-mile radius of their club/association’s mailing address.”
  • Phase I try-outs will be at the All Star Fundraisers and by appointment with the following: Jamie Clark (440-390-9521), Jennifer Ehlert (216-287-5979), Jeff Inman (216-577-4168), Sharon Galinac (440-334-0221), and Rose Scott (216-313-0556.) 
    These are the only individuals approved to take Phase I scores.

2011 CDC All Star Fundraiser Information

Automatic Spot Process for the 2011 CDC All Star Team

  • The CDC All Star Team consists of 28 Men and 14 Women.
  • 14 Men and 7 Women will earn a spot on the 2011 All Star Team by the Automatic Spot process.
  • In order to be eligible for an Automatic Spot, the following qualifications have been established:
    • Men must qualify in Phase I with a minimum of 1,600 points.
    • Women must qualify in Phase I with a minimum of 1,100 points.
    • Must have been a participating member on the CDC All Star Team for the 2 prior years. (2009 and 2010.)
  • The final day to post a score for an Automatic Spot is Friday, August 26, 2011. Phase I scores will be taken at The Orioles Club beginning at 6 PM. At the conclusion of Tournament Trails, the top 14 Men and the top 7 Women, meeting the above qualifications, will earn a spot on the 2011 CDC All Star Team.
  • **If you are awarded an Automatic Spot on the 2011 CDC All Star Team, your CDC Membership must be current no later than Phase II, September 25, 2011. If your name is not on the current CDC Membership list, your Automatic Spot will be open to a person participating in Phase II. CDC Memberships run September 1 to August 31. CDC Memberships are $20 per year. **
