Attention all Cleveland Darter Club League Players...

• Shirt sizes are DUE for all summer session players.  Check with your captain and ensure you've submitted this data to the League Manager at scores@darter.org.  There is just no way to contact EVERYONE to find out sizes.

  It's almost time to start thinking about beginning to sign up for Fall.  We've got all kinds of FUN planned for this next season and year of darts.  Get your teams together and send us your rosters/registrations.  Looking to get involved or want to find a new team... Check out the "Looking For a Team" link to the right.  We'll be adding some new ideas to this coming soon.
• A Quick Refresher From the League Rules Committee:
  Recently an item came up for debate related to scoring matches.  Many of us have operated under assumptions with regards to the scorekeeper's role in providing data to the darter at the oche (line).  In a recent survey, only 3 out of 14 people polled answered it correctly.  Below you'll find the details of the actual CDC Rule and the corresponding ADO rule.  Quiz your friends and show off your rules knowledge!
  • The scorekeeper must maintain an accurate account of darts thrown, as well as game score.
  • Only the last throw of any game may be counted as less than 3 darts thrown.
  • The scorekeeper may not verbalize points scored and/or points left unless requested by shooter. The scorekeeper may not give the thrower number combinations or out shots. It is permissible for a partner, teammate or spectator to advise the thrower during a match.
  • [ADO Rule] The Scorer may inform the thrower what he has scored and/or what he has left.  He MAY NOT inform the thrower what he has left in terms of number combinations. It IS permissible for a partner, teammate, or a spectator to advise the thrower during the course of a Match.
