PART 1

2.       The scoring area of a dart board is enclosed by a wire spider.
A.      A single dart scores twenty five (25) points for a bullseye (the larger circle at the center of the board) or from one (1) to twenty (20) points, depending on the wedge it lands in. The value of each wedge is marked at the rim of the board.
B.      The spider forms a triples ring near the middle of all the wedges. A dart in this ring scores triple the wedge value.
C.      The doubles ring at the outer edge of all the wedges and the double bull (the smaller circle at the center of the board) end 01 games.

3.       The objective of any 01 game is to score the exact number of points stated by the name of the game, with the last scoring dart in a double.
A.      Singles games, two players competing, are cricket and 301. If both teams choose, game 7 may be team cricket (15-20 & cork)
B.      All 301 and 501 games are double in and double out. Note: if opposing players agree, any 301and/or any 501 may be played free in and double out. (This is not the Captains decision)
C.      Players alternate turns, each throwing three darts, one at a time, per turn. (When a player "busts", (scoring more points than score remaining or arriving at zero, without having hit a double) their turn ends, their turn score is recorded as zero (0), and the game continues.)
D.      To "chalk" any 01 game properly, use two columns for each team. Teams should use the same column throughout the match. (Home team on left - visiting team on right) in the outside column record the score of every turn. In the other, start with total game points and subtract each turn score, leaving remaining points.

4.       The objective of a cricket game is to record three (3) hits each on seven (7) segments of the board.
A.      Scoring segments are the bullseye and the wedges valued 15 thru 20.
B.      The first team to hit three (3) of a segment opens that number. While a team has a number open, additional hits score as many points as the value of that wedge.
C.      The second team to hit three (3) of a segment closes that number. After a number has been closed neither team may score additional points on that number.  The scores are kept in three columns. The middle column identifies the segments. Each outside column represents a team. Mark the first hit as a (/). a second hit makes that an (x). For the third hit, the x would be circled. A running point total must also be kept.

5.       Division standings are sent weekly to all team taverns.
A. The CDC reserves the right to make retroactive corrections to weekly standings.
1.       Inaccurately reported results will be corrected.
2.       Penalty points will be adjusted at league discretion.
3.       Arithmetic errors will be corrected.

6.       Every team completing the season in good standing will be entitled to receive awards earned during that season. (Any team and/or player not fully paid and any winter league 1st half team that did not play the 2nd half, will be considered as not having finished in good standing.) If your team has not paid weekly fees (or any part thereof) for any three (3) weeks your team may be removed from the league. If your team withholds any fees paid by a visiting team your captain will be suspended from league play until those fees are paid in full.

7.       Team representatives are spokespersons for their team, to the league and other teams.

8.       Disputes should be handled by team representatives only. (Protests may be brought to the league for resolution.)
A.      A match played (unprotested) to completion is considered valid.
B.      protests must be written at the time of infraction and returned with the score sheet. (The words "protest filed" must appear on the score sheet of a protested match.)
C.      Scores (if any) for uncompleted matches will be decided by the league.

9.       If your opponent does not field at least one (1) player by the match starting deadline (8:00 p.m.) you may claim a forfeit. If you do: all members of your team that are present must sign the scoresheet (do not print) and return it to the league. (On time & along with your teams weekly fees) (as a gesture of good sportsmanship, a team might want to wait for a late arriving team that has notified your team of that fact. (A match may be postponed only to the day following your match.) No match may be postponed to a later date. The results of any "next day" match must be received by the league no later than noon, the day after said match.
A.      When you claim a forfeit, you accept responsibility for mailing the score sheet. You must, write "forfeit" on opponents roster and have each member of your team in attendance sign the scoresheet.
B.      If a forfeit is claimed against your team, you must pay league fees for both teams. If fees are enclosed with next week's score sheet, the league will not assess penalties for late payment. (Please note that fees are for prior week's forfeited match)
C.      If a team is not able to field at least one player for a match, a forfeit must be claimed unless the competing teams play said match prior to scheduled match date.
D.      The team not forfeiting shall receive as many points as does the highest scoring team in their division, the forfeiting team will receive zero (0) points.
E.      Any match may be played prior to the regular match if both teams wish. If a match is played early the scoresheet must be dated with the scheduled match date.
F.       If a team fails to complete any section (1st sec. Eight (8) weeks or 2nd sec. (6) weeks), their remaining opponents will receive a forfeit. If this situation occurs prior to the start of the second or fourth Quarters a "bye" (zero (0) points) (do not mail scoresheet or fees) will be given to all opponents for that Quarter.
G.      Any team unpaid for a total of 3 weeks may be withdrawn.
