Tournament Trails Trip Offerings for 2008

The tournaments listed  are being "offered". Any Current Member (dues paid) of The Cleveland Darter Club is eligible to participate in the Tournament Trails program, at any of these Tournament Trails locations. In a nutshell, each time you play at Trails, you get "Trails Points"; 4 points for entering Singles (entry fee $5), and 2 points for entering in the Blind Draw ($2 entry). For each Singles round that you win, you'll get an additional 2 Trails Points. Doubles Round wins get you 1extra Point each. This is in addition to a cash payout at the end of the event. More information on this is in the Tournament Trails Rules.

The fifty topmost current Members with a minimum of 500 Trails Points will be listed on the Top-50 List [sample] and are eligible for a Trails Trip Application letter [sample]. [for details on this procedure see Rule 12 of Tournament Trails Rules]You'll have your choice of taking a Trip to any one of the Tournaments offered on that letter.

A Trails Trip includes

  • Custom-embroidered polo-shirt (including the Tournament name, date and Member’s name)
  • $30 spending money
  • Entry fees into one Singles and one Doubles event
  • Roundtrip airfare or Mileage Allowance
  • Transportation to the hotel/venue
  • Hotel room (based on double occupancy if 2 Members of same sex are going on same trip – otherwise Member has option to pay the difference for a single room).


So you'll know what to "shoot" for, the Trails program has set "cut-off" dates by which you'll need to have acquired at least 500 Points to be eligible for Trips corresponding with that date. NOTE: Only those trips with a blue "flyer" link are confirmed. All other trips are tentative until specific event information can be obtained - any/all assistance in acquiring missing information is GREATLY appreciated.
